Sara Chung is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Washington majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She is passionate about improving communication across the lifespan, with particular interests in both pediatric and geriatric populations. Her clinical experience includes working with children as a healthcare intern in clinic/urgent care settings, and she is currently serving as a clinic aide in the rehabilitation therapy department of a retirement community.
In her work with older adults, she is especially drawn to the impact of hearing loss on communication and mental health. Through her studies and hands-on experiences, she hopes to contribute meaningfully to this field by supporting individuals in maintaining their ability to connect with others.
