Rapid measurement of DPOAE growth functions across frequencies.
Otoacoustic emissions (OAEs) are acoustic signals that arise from the cochlea and can be measured non-invasively in the ear canal. Current clinical applications typically measure OAEs across a limited range of frequencies and stimulus levels. In this paper, we describe and provide an initial validation of a method for measuring distortion product OAE growth functions across multiple frequencies simultaneously. This allows for a quick assessment of OAEs across a wide parameter space.
